Applus+ certifies ENUSA as `Empresa Saludable´

12/01/2017

Applus+ has certified state-owned company ENUSA under Fraternidad Prevención's "Empresa Saludable" scheme.

In December 2016, José L. González (President of ENUSA) was presented with his company’s “Empresa Saludable” (SGIS) certification by Federico Martinez (Director of Institutional Relations at Applus+ Certification).

The "Empresa saludable" model developed by Frater Prevención aims to encourage companies to bring about improvements in the field of occupational health and safety and employee wellbeing.
This model is founded on the premise that an organisation is nothing without its people. It promotes improvement by basing itself on positive people management and the idea of promoting health in the workplace with a view not only to preventing accidents, but also to assessing and enhancing employee health more generally.

The scheme’s primary benefits are the recognition of individual organisations’ efforts in employee health and wellbeing and the promotion of a culture of health across organisations.
ENUSA’s certification as a "Empresa Saludable" is an important public sign of its commitment since this entails ongoing follow-up by Applus+ every two years to ensure the continuous improvement required by the scheme is taking place.

Applus+ is one of the world’s leading testing, inspection and certification companies, with some 18,700 employees in 2015 across more than 70 countries. It serves clients in all sectors, helping them to ensure that their assets and products comply with health, safety, quality, environmental and CSR standards and legislation.
